A brief explanation about our lunches provided by our creators:
Austin: The foods we chose are healthy alternatives to what the school serves now. Instead of frying, and cooking things in grease or oil we choose to bake them to lower the fat. Also, our menu includes a lot of fruits and vegetables, so the kids get a lot of vitamins and fiber. All the foods that use bread on our menu use whole wheat because they are a much healthier. We use a lot of lean meats for protein.
Libby: This five day lunch plan will certainly benefit the students within your school. Each day, there is a variety of foods that contain various, healthy colors and provides numerous nutrients. Some nutrients that students will gain at lunch will be, proteins, vitamin A, iron, dietary fiber, calcium, and vitamin C. These foods contain a small amount of calories and sugar, but still provide the right amount of nutrients for an individual. The definition of Nutrition is the right plan for your students!
Tony: This five week plan will benefit people by its healthiness. If more people start to eat from our healthy meals instead of junky foods we wouldn’t be obese anymore and we would all benefit from it. Our meals consist of proteins, vitamin A, vitamin C, iron, calcium, and carbohydrates.
Vicky:
I believe my five-day week of
healthy school lunches will really benefit all the students who decide to eat
it. The food I chose for my week is all healthy alternatives for burgers French
fries, and pizza. If all students decided to eat a lunch like the one I made
everyday, then chances are, students would be more awake and lively in class,
and it would look good for the school’s reputation. FOOD SO GOOD, YOU"LL DANCE!
